Boarding questions, answered
What vaccines and paperwork do I need?
By law we require a current Rabies certificate, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccine. We also highly encourage bringing your dog's PA County license tag — pets without one may be subject to a county fine if found untagged.
How do you keep my dog safe overnight?
We maintain a staff-to-dog ratio, separate dogs by size and temperament, and every staff member is trained in dog behavior and emergency procedures — day and night.
Will I get updates while my dog is boarding?
Yes — we send text updates with photos daily at no additional charge, so you can see how their stay is going. You're always welcome to call and check in too.
What happens if my dog gets sick or hurt while boarding?
We contact you immediately. Non-emergency illness means individual walks and attention away from other dogs; if needed, we'll facilitate a vet consult. For injuries, we consult a partnered or emergency vet depending on severity and keep you updated throughout.
What's your cancellation policy?
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes to a reservation. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.
What should I bring for a boarding stay?
Pre-portioned food, any medications, a leash, and proof of vaccinations. A favorite toy or blanket is welcome — just no rawhide in the suites.
